This was a unique way of simulating absolute dating and I loved it. Kids learned a lot and it was not so chem focused that my ecology kids couldn’t follow along.

This lab was so much fun! And what is really nice is that it can be reused again and again as the puzzle pieces are durable.

This was a such a simple but effective hands-on lab that helped my students grasp half-life a little more easily. Will definitely do this again in future years with my Earth's history unit.
