STEM, Descriptive Writing, Fall Activities, Fun Halloween Activity, Hands-On, Halloween Projects
In this fun, yet academic activity, your students will design their own "trick-or-treater " and then write a descriptive paragraph about their drawing. Their partner (without seeing the artwork) will read the descriptive paragraph and try to recreate the costume.
This activity helps develop:
-creative writing skills
-use of adjectives and imagery
-creativity
Pumpkin Lab Workshop
In this multi-curricular Lab, your students will use a pumpkin to explore creative writing, estimation, measurement, science, and computer research skills. The lab is designed to be fun, however the students will follow a 9 Station Lab that will guide them through the process.
