This set of 28 word problem task cards with cute Halloween graphics is perfect for practicing 1 and 2-digit addition and subtraction. This set can be used as part of a Math Center, a whole class activity such as Scoot or for independent learning.

The set is provided in color but photocopies very well in grayscale. Just print, cut each sheet into four along the dotted lines and go!

The set comprises:

Cards 1-12

* one step addition word problem task cards

* one step subtraction word problem task cards

Cards 11-24

* two step addition word problem task cards

* two step subtraction word problem task cards (note that these can also be solved using addition and subtraction)

Cards 25-28

* two step mixed operation (addition and subtraction) word problem task cards

* 4 different student answer recording handouts— one step, two step (not mixed), two step including mixed operation, all the cards. This allows for excellent differentiation in the classroom.

* An answer key for each handout to allow for independent marking.
