Halloween Candy Problem Solving
Share

Description

This was designed as a quick small group problem solving activity to do around Halloween. Students have to determine how many pieces of candy to hand out for trick-or-treat and then find two different ways to purchase the candy from the store using information in the data table. If you want to increase the difficulty, you could require that for one of the solutions students have to show the cheapest way to do this.
