One of my favorite ways to keep kids engaged in the computer without doing another typing assignment. I used all different holidays of the ASCII Text art to celebrate thought out the year. I always say that the hardest part of this assignment is that it requires you to follow the directions. You could assign the directions on the computer, my students prefer when I print them so they can make marks on the paper to help them follow along. I have found printing 2 pages per sheet has saved paper and its not to small for reading the directions. I also print or display the answer page to minimize the "Is this what its sposta look like" comments and questions.

I love the Google Slides option in this resource. It saves so much copying! I've used the ASCII text art products that didn't have the Google Slides version and I like the GS version so much better. These ASCII text art challenges are a great way to help kids remember the location of keys that aren't necessarily used very frequently and they have fun, too. Thanks for a great product. =)
