You can use the task cards as descriptive writing practice, story starters for creative writing or even as speaking practice for your ESL students. The larger slides can be projected onto your board as a warm up or to provide an example of how to use the task cards. When I use these slides as a warm up, I like to play appropriate music or sounds in the background. For example, you could play some spooky organ music to get them thinking about their Halloween scene.
