This Halloween kindergarten pattern activity is an engaging way for kindergartners to learn about pattern rules. Works with math centers, group and homeschool too! The "Pumpkinator" adds an element of fun.

• Pattern "Pumpkinator" (This is an image of a jack-o-lantern with its mouth cut out. The learners will feed the "Pumpkinator" with a strip of paper which has a pattern and guess what comes next. See preview.)
• 4 pattern strips which illustrate the A-B-A-B and A-A-B-A-A-B pattern rules
• Reproducible strips for learners to recreate the pattern or make up their own
