This is a set of 20 playdough counting mats. (+20 more with a white background if you choose to save some ink)
Kids make legs for the spiders according to the numbers next to the web. There are tally marks next to each number to help kids checking their work.
This is a fun numbers recognition and number sense
activity.
You can also use this with whiteboard marker.
Print, laminate and your center is set. I’ve made smaller versions (4 per sheet) for this purpose.
For some reason, kids feel as if it less work drawing smaller legs (I guess it is :) ) and can do more cards at the same time.
