Are you looking for a fun and hands on Halloween math activity? These pattern blocks templates are the perfect themed math center for your preschool or kindergarten classroom. Students create a picture and then count how many of each pattern block shape are included in the picture. Includes 10 different puzzles ( bat, haunted house, spider, web, coffin, eyeball, witch hat, witch shoe, tombstone).

Different versions to allow for differentiation:

  • colored to scale mats pattern blocks for students to match (with and without a counting the number of each shapes activity)
  • small easy to store task cards
  • black and white
  • no lines to challenge students to find their own pattern blocks to create the pictures.
  • roll and color the shapes (great to use for shape identification

Also includes a recording sheet focusing on counting, addition and comparing numbers.
