Description

Your students will love this fun Halloween haunted houses math project! What's spookier than math? They will enjoy being creative as they plan, design, and construct haunted houses out of cardboard boxes. They will practice real world math skills throughout the project as well. They will have to use a budget to calculate the cost of their construction supplies, and they will also have to calculate the dimensions of their model and use scale to calculate the dimensions of the real haunted house.

What's Included:

  • detailed teacher directions, tips and tricks, and ideas for differentiation and extension
  • 8 client cards to assign to students to use as a design idea
  • color and black and white versions
  • materials and cost list
  • editable version of this list for use in Google Slides(tm) and blank version for you to fill in
  • student directions and worksheet

  • a metric version
