Description
6 Math stations included
- Basic Math Facts
Roll 2 dice and find the sum. Place a marker on the dot above the number that represents the sum. Continue this process until 1 of the sums is rolled 6 times to see which sum wins! Students can do independently or with a partner.
- Ways to Make 100
Take turns drawing lines to connect 2 dots. When you are the last one to draw a line that closes a box, say the other number that combines with the number in the box to make 100.
- Find the Midpoint on a Number Line
Students look at the anchor numbers on the number line and determine the midpoint. Each number line has different clip art. There is a recording sheet where they can record the midpoints. They write the midpoint on the line next to the matching clip art picture from each number line.
- Plotting Numbers on a Number Line
Students plot the 2 decades each number is in between. They then place the number with correct proportion between the 2 decades.
- Addition with Regrouping
Students will choose 2 eyeballs out of the cauldron and find the sum of the addends. I wrote 2 numbers in a different color on each eyeball to differentiate.
- 100s Chart Number Sense
Use the 100s charts as an aid to help fill in the missing numbers on the task cards. Students will get practice identifying numbers that are 100 more/less, 10 more/less and 1 more/less.
