There are 10 PDF Math Centers for patterns with ANSWER KEYS and 7 Google Slide Activities to use during your Math Center or Guided Math time. Most math patterns activities are suitable for working on your own and with a partner.
The PDF resource includes these centers:
⭐Can You Match It? Extend the Pattern – 3 ways to play
⭐What Piece is Missing? – 3 ways to play
⭐Is it a Pattern? – Look at each pattern card and determine if it shows a pattern or not—color thumbs up for yes and thumbs down for no.
⭐Sort those Patterns – Sort the pattern cards on the mat that shows the correct pattern name.
⭐Pattern Match – Play this game like concentration. Turn all the cards over and match the pattern strip to the pattern name to get a match.
⭐Make It! #1 – Take a Make It card and create the pattern named on the card. (NO ANSWER KEY - ANSWERS VARY)
⭐Make It! #2 – Take a Make It challenge card and create the pattern using the instructions on the card. (NO ANSWER KEY - ANSWERS VARY)
⭐Spin a Pattern – Students spin the pattern name spinner first and then spin the letter spinners that are necessary to build the named pattern. (NO ANSWER KEY - ANSWERS VARY)
⭐What’s My Rule? Match the pattern rule card to the pattern that fits that rule.
⭐Pattern Clip It - 2 different cards - Clip the missing pattern piece or clip the pattern name.
