Happy St. Patrick's Day! Looking for a fun and simple way for your kindergarten or primary students to celebrate St. Patrick's Day? Check out this printable, interactive, easy to use,  "Happy St. Patrick's Day" crown for your students to proudly wear in your class. This interactive crown can be printed for students and they will be able to color, cut out and paste the topper onto a headband.

This activity is 3 pages (.pdf file) that includes instructions, a Leprechaun crown topper and optional headband pieces. Students can cut along the dotted guides to make their special crown toppers with very little help.  Students can color and decorate the crown using their own creativity.

Please note, construction paper or card stock should be prepared in advance to create headbands for students. The crown topper cut out can then be pasted onto the front of the headbands after students have colored, decorated and printed their names. If you do not have construction paper you can use the optional headband paper included to cut out and attach.

What this activity comes with:

  • Instructions on how to use the crown topper.
  • The outline of the St. Patrick's Day crown.
  • Headband cut outs for students to use if they do not have construction paper.
  • Please note, this does not come with the construction paper headband as each student's head may differ in size. You may want to use construction paper or cardstock from your school storage room.
  • Instructional Video Here: Step-by-step - How to assemble the crown (Note: Crown design in video may differ but steps are the same for all crowns).
