Description

This product includes 25 digital Boom Cards for students who are learning to distinguish between hard and soft items. Each card features a clip art image and has a hard and soft icon for the student to choose from. Students must select the correct icon on the right hand side before moving on. Cards are randomised. Great for students learning basic properties of objects.

Can be played on iPads, interactive whiteboards, computers or laptops. This is primarily a digital product. I have also included the slides in PDF format 4 to a page for your convenience. On purchase you will receive a PDF document that includes a redeemable link to the Boom Cards.

What are Boom Cards?

Boom cards are interactive, self-grading, paperless lessons or task cards. Once you have made a purchase you will receive a link to a DIGITAL product on the Boom Learning website. They cannot be printed.

The benefits of using Boom Cards:

· Students are engaged and motivated! Provide them with an alternative to traditional task cards.

· Save your self-time and money printing, cutting and laminating task cards.

· Your students will receive instant feedback as they answer questions.

· Easy to differentiate: Assign students different decks based on their ability level.

To use this product you will need:

· A Boom Learning Account. Free accounts include the ability to generate student progress reports for 5 students and to make up to 5 DIY decks. Free accounts include the ability to assign Boom Cards to unlimited students (without progress reports) using the Fast Play pin option available in the Library

· A device connected to the internet, for your students to play on (Interactive whiteboard, computers, iPads, Androids and Kindle Fire are all supported. Download the free Boom App on mobile devices.

· A modern Internet browser (released or updated in the last 3 years)

How to use Boom Cards with a free account:

1. Log in to your Boom teacher account.

2. Go to “library”, click on the deck and click on “FastPin”, select “Generate New Pin”. (Pins are valid for 5 days, after 5 days you will need to generate a new pin).

You then have two options:

A: Copy and paste the link to play.

B: Go to boomlearning.com or the Boom app on mobile devices. Click fast play, enter the pin and click play.

Fast Pins play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards. Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you'll need a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account.
