Description

This spring art prompt asks kids to create a hatching chick by folding along the dashed lines to close and decorate the egg, then unfolding to draw the chick's face. Color it in, cut it out, and watch it hatch again and again! Print the activity for centers, early finishers, Easter / spring parties, and home entertainment.

Drawing prompts are a wonderful way to encourage creativity because they give children an idea to start with (since staring at a blank page can be intimidating) while still allowing them to be imaginative, and it’s way more fun than just a coloring sheet!

I'm an artist/illustrator from Louisiana, and my passion is to create bright and cheery art that spreads joy and inspires imaginations. I hope this printable will help to do just that while encouraging children to develop a creative mindset.
