Description

Based upon the Center for Disease Control’s Health Education Curriculum Assessment Tool, we created over 150 Health Learning Objectives that you can select to cover with your children throughout the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade years.

The Health Learning Objectives fall under eight different categories:

⇒ Healthy Eating
⇒ Personal Health and Wellness
⇒ Mental and Emotional Health
⇒ Safety
⇒ Violence Prevention
⇒ Physical Activity
⇒ Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs
⇒ Sexual Health

The Health Learning Objectives are written in family-friendly and practical language. As a curricular guide, you have the option of adapting the material to fit the unique needs of your children, as well as your family’s values.

NOTE: The Homeschool Health Curricular Guide does **not** include individual lesson plans for teaching each of the learning objectives. The 150+ Health Learning Objectives are listed in a chart format and can be used by DIY Homeschool Parents who are confident and willing to construct a meaningful Health learning experience from the resources they already have within their home; from the Internet; and within their communities.

We sort of unschool but I like to have things like this that I can check and make sure we're not missing things completely. This is exactly what I need to reassure my husband that the kids are learning.
