Valentine’s Day Pizza Craft Review
Rated 5 out of 5

Met expectations
Great value

This Valentine’s Day pizza craft was such a fun and engaging activity for my students. The directions were clear, the templates were easy to use, and the final projects turned out adorable. My students were excited from start to finish and loved creating their own pizza valentines. I especially appreciated how simple the prep was while still giving students opportunities to practice creativity, fine motor skills, and following directions. The activity kept my class engaged and worked perfectly as a seasonal craft. It also made a great bulletin board display that parents and students enjoyed seeing. This resource was organized, student friendly, and easy to implement in a busy classroom. I will definitely use it again next Valentine’s Day.

This is a solid educational resource that can work for a lot of different people. It’s easy enough to figure out without a ton of instructions, and you can move through it at your own pace, which is nice. Whether someone is just starting out or needs extra practice, it gives enough support to keep things from feeling too confusing. The way the information is laid out makes sense and doesn’t feel all over the place. Things build on each other in a way that helps it stick a little better. There’s also some kind of practice or follow-up built in, which helps you actually use what you’re learning instead of just reading or watching and forgetting it. It’s also pretty flexible. You could use it on your own, with a teacher, or even just as something extra to fill in gaps. It doesn’t feel locked into one specific way of learning, which makes it more useful for different situations. That said, how much you get out of it really depends on how much effort you put in. If you’re not consistent, it’s easy to fall off or not fully understand things. Some people might also wish there was a bit more interaction or hands-on parts, depending on how they learn best. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to do. It’s helpful, straightforward, and can be a good addition to whatever learning setup you already have.

Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
