Description
This resource has two pages sized for Interactive Science Notebooks. The first INB page is for introducing heterogeneous and homogeneous mixtures. It is a great set of notes for students to refer back to throughout the unit. The second INB page provides practice for students to work with the content. As part of this page, students write a question used to distinguish between heterogeneous and homogeneous mixtures. Then students draw a picture of each type of mixture and write sentences about how they know what kind of mixture it is.
This resource includes the following pages:
- Directions about how to use the INB pages
- A page with two notes sheets side by side (for teachers who only want to print the notes)
- A page with two practice sheets side by side (for teachers who only want to print the practice INB page)
- A page with one notes sheet and one practice sheet (for teachers who want both pages for each student)
- An answer key for teachers and absent students
- A teacher information page
These INB pages are perfectly aligned to this Editable PowerPoint. Use them together to introduce and practice mixtures. You can get both of these resources at a discount when you purchase them together in the Heterogeneous and Homogeneous Mixtures INB Pages and PowerPoint Pack.
You can also get this resource as a part of the Heterogeneous and Homogeneous Mixtures PACKAGE which comes with these interactive notebook pages, the PowerPoint mentioned above, activities, bell ringers, worksheets, and an exit ticket.
