Are your students writing simple sentences over and over? Are they using simple sentences in place of detailed thoughts? This set helps students write detailed sentences using 5 WH Questions (who, what, where, when, why) that deserve a high five!

This is a SAMPLE set of cards and can be used with a whole group writing lesson, independent writing and centers. Students are provided with the simple sentences containing “Who?” And “Did What?” puzzle pieces. Students are then lead in a discussion of adding the other puzzle pieces one question puzzle piece at a time.
