This software booklet teaches pupils about Python programming:

- Count occurrence
- Parallel arrays
- Pre-defined functions (to create substrings, convert character to ASCII, convert ASCII to character, convert real numbers to integers, calculate modulus division)
- Modular programming
- Local and global variables
- Actual and formal parameters

- File handling
The programs access csv and txt files containing:
African countries, the top 3000 highest grossing movies of all time, USA states and the medal table for the 2020 Olympic Games.
It was created for the Scottish Higher curriculum (year 11).
It would also be relevant to parts of the A-Level Computer Science course as well.
There are 26 tasks and the pack contains solutions to all tasks.
