Description

Students will practice solving integer word problems involving the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) (about 30 word problems in total). After solving students will use their answer to color their flag. A coloring key is included. Students will find their answer on the coloring key and color the question number on the flag coloring page that color. There are 12 Hispanic countries flags included. Some word problems are more complex than others.

You can assign each person a country or assign all as you go. It could be a small group project, homework, etc.

*Extension: have your students find 3 important/cool facts of that country when they are done or for homework.
