Description

This set of 27 EDITABLE task cards serves as a review activity for the structures and functions of the integumentary system and tissue types. Students are asked to identify structures of the skin and different tissue types, match structures and functions of different tissue types, explain location of different tissues and identify special cell types.

***Student answer sheet and answer key are included (SEE PREVIEW)***

This can be used as a PPT review for the whole class, flash cards for struggling students, a formative assessment, or you can print, laminate, provide an answer sheet and use them as stations. My students find this so much more engaging than another review worksheet!

I have uploaded this in a .pptx format, so you can modify and differentiate for your classroom and students' needs. Enjoy!

Great review for my students! I presented the slides virtually and had the students write down their responses on their own.

I didn't have time to print these out and laminate before the review, so I presented each slide and gave students 1 minute to answer each. Kids were very competitive and engaged. THANKS!

Perfect formative assessment. I had students go around the room to each of these and then we graded it together as a class. Students could figure out their weak spots before the exam. Much more engaging than a worksheet.

Develop and use a model to illustrate the hierarchical organization of interacting systems that provide specific functions within multicellular organisms. Emphasis is on functions at the organism system level such as nutrient uptake, water delivery, and organism movement in response to neural stimuli. An example of an interacting system could be an artery depending on the proper function of elastic tissue and smooth muscle to regulate and deliver the proper amount of blood within the circulatory system. Assessment does not include interactions and functions at the molecular or chemical reaction level.
