This was great!
I started using Holt resources by r squared creations when I was still student teaching, over 5 years ago. Back then I used them with my 11th and 12th grade students taking Linear Algebra, and it was amazing how quickly they caught on with the PowerPoints and classwork. I would frequently have students tell me that they had never "got" math before, but that they did after the lessons I used the Holt Algebra resources with. Now I have my own classroom and I teach 8th grade Algebra 1. This particular set, the Chapter 8 Factoring, has helped them SO much. The textbook I use for the class presented the material in such a manner as it seemed to really confuse the students so I used this Holt Factoring bundle to supplement my lessons, and it was like a lightbulb went off for all of the students who had been struggling. I highly recommend all of r squared creations for use in your classroom!
