What Is Lent:

Lent used to be thought of as a "Catholic only" thing, but in recent years many protestants are enjoying this special time too! This wonderfully encouraging presentation makes a perfect bulletin board for 4th grade and up!

Bulletin Board Idea:
I trimmed the excess white off of each page and mounted them on card stock. Using a ready made religious border and by cutting out individual elements from that same border I believe a simple but dynamic effect can be achieved!

What is Holy Week:

This versatile file was originally created for a bulletin board, but can be easily utilized as an overheard presentation as well! Your students will learn about each day during Holy week and the events that define them. Each slide has a brief but comprehensive description of that days events. The bottom of each has the accompanying scripture. As a bulletin board you can display one print-off a day for bite sized learning. The effect of the finished board at the end of the week is bright and encouraging! I used a "religious" border and simply cut out individual elements to highlight each print off after using card stock as a mat.
