I DON’T HAVE MY HOMEWORK
Do you hear all types of excuses for why students don’t have their homework? Students still receive a zero (if you choose) but I DON’T HAVE MY HOMEWORK form helps you keep track of the data.
I keep a stack of I Don’t Have My Homework by my “inbox”. If students do not have their homework, they complete one of these forms. I keep these in their file. I do mark a zero for homework completion, but this way I have a record of their excuse. If, by chance, the student makes a habit of not completing their homework, I have data to explain to their parent/guardian.
I have also found that by filling out this form, the student knows they aren’t “getting away” with not doing their homework. A zero in the gradebook doesn’t always mean something, but sometimes filling out this paper makes it a little more concrete.
You can earn TPT Credits by leaving feedback on any of the products you purchase. You get 1 TPT Credit for every dollar you spend. 100 credits will earn you 5$ towards your next purchase.
