Description
Being a huge proponent of practicing speech at home to help with carryover and generalization of skills, I created these forms as a way to communicate with my kiddos' parents. I send home the interest page at the beginning of the school year to see if the parents would be willing to do speech homework with their child. If yes, I create a "Speech Homework Folder" for each student based on the targets they are working on. Practice pages I use include pictures of words containing targets, search and finds, word lists, etc.
***Check out the Articulation Puzzle Packs in our store for fun homework pages!!!***
The last two pages (1 for boys, 1 for girls) in this download are what I use to track how often the kiddo is practicing. This page is placed in the Speech Homework Folder along with the kiddo's practice pages. For each night they practice, their parent/homework helper signs on a line and dates it. My students bring their folder with them to each speech session (so I can change out pages/write notes for parents/etc.). For every 3 signatures, my kiddos get to choose an item from my treasure chest...nothing like a little good motivation to practice speech! ;)
Thanks for checking in with the Speech Duo!

I've been playing around with how to handle this home practice. I like your form, having parents sign onboard from the beginning! Thanks for sharing your ideas!
You're welcome! Hope they work well for you!
