This is a Writing Prompt that asks the students to find homophones (words that sound the same but have different meanings and spellings) for other words. This is useful as a whole group activity, homework, or in literacy centers. Personally, I like to use the book "Dear Deer" by Gene Baretta when teaching homophones.
