Description

Welcome to math practice for young children. Each page can be used as a math mat for counting and number sense from 1 through 20. Included in the packet:

1.Math Mats from 1 – 20

2.Suggested supplemental activities.

3.Page of apples that can be reproduced and used as counters.

4.Numbers for students to use for gluing if desired.

•When laminated the pages can be used over and over to reinforce skills.

•Use as a practice activity for students who are unable or unavailable to use writing tools.

•Make a classroom book for group work and introduction to the concepts.

•Make individual books for repetitive practice or use during distant learning.

•When used as a presentation for small groups of students, students can respond to the questions posed on the page:

•How many apples do you see?

•Trace the number.

•Draw the apples.

•Write the number

Try using this activity for addition and subtraction of 1 more. Students will have fun predicting the next number and then checking the answer by selecting the next or previous slide.
