Description

Track how many days in school and cover Math Their Way 10 frame concepts at the same time. Children can use the interactive 10 frame mats to keep track of how many days they have been in school. As well as how many days there are left.

I use the 10 frames and the corresponding pieces as part of my interactive morning calendar time. The students choose a square and help us count the pieces already attached to the 10 frames.

We then add the new card so we have an accurate count of how many days we have been in school. We do a small party when we get to 100. I have a FREE 100 day snack mat in my store that you may be interested in. Use the 100-day party sign as décor during the class party, or as a placemat for the children!

Since I teach young 5 year old’s, once we get to 100 we count backward to 0 for the remainder of the year.

You could absolutely continue toward 180. I have included 10 frames and small cards up to 200 in the pack.

I laminate all the pieces and attach Velcro BEFORE I cut. Then cut everything out and the Velcro dots are already attached and ready to go.

I print the number pennants and 10 frames on colored cardstock to save on colored ink, but give the look I want in my classroom space.
