Description
People who create word puzzles in which the goal is to make as many words as possible from another word or phrase will frequently put the words in a circle, because that tends to expand creativity by taking away the visual limits of seeing the word in a line. Based on this principle, “The Clock Game” was developed by ElderGames using one letter for each of the 12 numbers on a clock. The product is no longer available, but I have made multiple examples and you can make up your own, too. As I have done here using more or fewer letters. In this sample, the challenge is to make as many words as possible from the phrase “spring flowers.” In this time-saving exercise, over 200 answers are given on the last two pages.
This is one of a series of clock game exercises from Creating Delight. Look for others.
