- This resource has 51 cards plus numerous targets to help teach your students to answer how questions. You can use these cards as prompt cards/targets to teach ABLLS-R H32 “Answers How Questions” Fade picture prompts as soon as you are able. Questions target personal information, quantity, quality, extent and procedural/steps.
- There are four types of cards. Set 1: Three picture cues included and any could be correct depending on the individual student (ex. How do you get to school?) Set 2: Two picture cues and only one is correct (ex. How many ears do you have?) and Set 3: No picture cues included (ex: How old are you?) and Set 4: Procedural (ex: How do you wash your hands?) one general picture cue and suggested answers included).
- On page 20 is a visual guide to embedding functional “How” Questions into the natural environment and contains a wealth of additional targets.
- Print each page in color. Cut out each question card and laminate. Cards can be used in any order. Laminate cards on pages 16-19 back to back or as two separate cards
