The kids were into the lesson only as much as could be expected. But the reason I gave this 5 stars is it's uniqueness among resources. There really just isn't much that goes into detail about HOW to write in science. There are lots of lab resources out there; including some on writing reports. But this is one of the very rare that goes into detail with things like writing in the 3rd person AND that gives practice. Great job to the uploader!
