Description

The best How We Get Home graphing activity for the first day of school! This is great for primary grades.

Students color and cut the graphic that describes how they get home from school:

Walking

Bus

Aftercare

Car Rider

Use tape or sticky tack to make a quick graph in front of the class with their graphics they colored.

Then use the worksheet to have a conversation about the graph.

This is the perfect first day of school activity so that you can make sure both you AND the students understand how they are getting home on that first day!

PLUS...an extra bonus activity! Counting Around the Classroom.

Use this as a fun activity for the students as well as a way for you to observe their skills in counting and numbers.

These activities are a part of a bigger resource I have called Back to School Full Lesson Plans which includes EVERYTHING you need to teach all day for the first 3 days of 1st grade.
