For many teachers, task-based instruction was not done when they were a student, nor did they learn about it in their college preparation programs. This 1+ hour long PD covers what a math task is, levels of demand within tasks, common misconceptions of task-based instruction, and a role-alike for teachers to learn as if they were students.
