How to Find Reference Angles is a complete no-prep lesson that includes guided notes, classwork, and homework! You will define a reference angle, display it visually, and demonstrate how to find it in each quadrant. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to find a reference angle in any quadrant, in both degrees and radians. This lesson is just what you need if you are looking for notes, classwork, and homework on reference angles.  All the prep work is done for you, just do what you do best - teach!

Students will:

  • Define reference angle
  • Draw an angle in standard position then find the reference angle in degrees
  • Draw an angle in standard position then find the reference angle in radians

This Reference Angles lesson is a downloadable pdf which includes:
