Share

Description

The NGSS frame work requires students to "construct, analyze, and/or interpret graphical displays of data" (Science and Engineering Practice #4) in order to identify relationships. This reference sheet is a helpful way for students to determine which graph is correct to use when making a graph for their data.

You will get printable PDFs of a reference sheet that explains 4 different types of graphs: bar graph, line graph, circle or pie graph, and pictograph. The poster can be printed as a 24x36, laminated and hung up on the wall in your classroom. The reference sheet is also provided 2 to a page, ready to be cut in half and added to a student's notebook as a reference page.
