This is a PowerPoint presentation is for the lesson on the Male and Female Reproductive Systems. The PowerPoint presentation can be used with guided notes on the Reproductive System included in another product in my store titled Human A&P Reproductive System Assessments and Guided Notes. I usually cover this last in my class and usually only get to assess it by a quiz on the male reproductive system and one on the female reproductive system and female reproductive cycles. I have also included some links to websites which contain pictures and illustrations which can be used as a supplement to the presentation. The links are in the slides when images copyright was in question. You can add the images to the slides if you like the ones I picked from the websites. Many slides have notes for instructor on my thoughts on discussion topics for that slide in the presentation. Content contains the anatomy of sperm cell, spermatogenesis, male reproductive structures internal and external and hormonal control. Also included is the Oogenesis, internal and external female reproductive structures, the ovarian and uterine cycles as well as conditions with male and female reproductive structures. Also are links to a YouTube video that I use in class on a Vasectomy reversal. The video doesn't show male anatomical structures other than part of the scrotum. There is a second video of the procedure but it is animated. A second video link is for a surgery of a tubal ligation procedure that is performed laparoscopically. The third video link is for a surgical procedure of an ectopic pregnancy. They are a graphic videos but very interesting. Depending on your class, you may not want to show the graphic ones. I have my students use the Anatomy Coloring Book by Kapit and Elson for illustrations of the anatomy of the male and female reproductive structures internally and externally as well as a coloring sheet that shows the uterine and ovarian cycles and their correlation with female hormones. My teaching time is based on a 4x4 schedule and takes about a week. I am also offering this product in a bundle with the guided notes and assessments for this lesson.
