This is a complete STEM Nursery Rhyme Unit to go along with the rhyme "Humpty Dumpty". It includes:
Science – Gravity Experiment - 2 experiments using gravity - the first can be done as a demonstration to introduce the class to the concept of gravity and teach terms. The second can be done either individually or as a class project. The resulting "Splat Pictures" can be hung up as an Art display on the effects of gravity!
Technology – QR Codes with links to YouTube videos with alternate versions of the rhyme.
Engineering – students create a tall wall for Humpty to climb. Requires disposable cups. Challenge Announcements, certificates and creation sheet included.
Measuring – students measure the height of different characters using the band-aid rulers provided. There are two different size rulers so you can discuss non-standard measurement. Recording sheet is provided.
