Description

This math game was created to help Sped students with Intellectual disabilities to be able to use the 100's chart as their supplemental aid when adding and subtracting within 100. This game has one digit + and - game cards that allow the students to count forwards or backwards on the 100 chart to add one digit numbers. The game also has + and - cards with multiples of 10 that allow the students to move up and down the 100 chart when adding two-digit numbers. The "Power cards" will help students understand that there is an easier way to move on a hundred chart than to have to count one by one.

This game is easy to set up. Just print and cut the number cards.

This game can be used with Sped students, General Ed students, in small groups, and independently. You just need some game pieces such as bear manipulatives, small cubes, or small erasers.

A recording sheet is included. This is very helpful to teachers because it is a way to assess if the student is able to use the hundred chart. It is also helpful to students because it helps them keep track of their place on the chart.
