Make learning to count easier with this color coded Hundred Chart.
Three things make this Hundred Chart special.
1. Each line is color coded to make it easier for children to follow the line visually. This helps when counting by ones (horizontally) and also when counting by tens (vertically).
2. The chart starts with zero. When the important concept of "zero" is introduced early it seems natural.
3. Each new line starts with a multiple of ten. This makes sense to children because the multiple of ten is on the same line as the "ones" that go with it. Starting the line with a multiple of ten also makes more sense when using Base Ten blocks or Cuisenaire® Rods.
Each student can have his/her own Hundred Chart for help with learning numbers, counting by ones, twos, fives and tens, and basic arithmetic such as addition and subtraction.
