Do your students love to play I HAVE, WHO HAS? My student love it. They really want to get their hands on that set of cards when we are finished with the game. Sooo,,, I made this I HAVE, WHO HAS inspired game called, I FOUND, WHERE Is?Now they CAN have their own game. #dollardazeofsummer
This game is played in a STATION independently or with a partner. When I tried to let my students play I HAVE, WHO HAS? in a group with the same rules as in the whole group, they always got TOO LOUD. Because it was FUN!
This game is FUN too. First of all, print it out in a MINI format. (Directions Included) Kids love things that are SMALL. I Have used a cute ANIMAL theme for the KINDERGARTEN cards and a cute ROBOT theme for the FIRST GRADE cards. The words I chose are a combination of FRY and DOLCH Words.
They are HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS... They are very common and knowing them will help them to be a better reader.
If you teach Kindergarten, you can use the Kinder Words or First Grade Words.
You may need to differentiate if some of your students are reading above level.
If you teach First Grade, you can use the Kinder or First Grade Words. You can differentiate by giving your lower first graders the Kinder words.
