Description
Does your school use i-Ready, Reflex Math or IXL? Do you struggle to motivate your students to use these programs more at home? If you said yes to either of these, then this product is just for you!
I created this product to help increase the usage of these programs at home and get more students more excited about using them. This product has been a huge hit in my classroom and I hope it can help in yours too!
How it Works:
Each week, students receive a log where they track the minutes used at home for either i-Ready, Reflex Math, or IXL. At the end of the week, I check to see which student has accumulated the most minutes/facts. The student with the most usage gets crowned the champ for that week.
As an incentive for my classroom, that student gets to eat lunch with me that day but you can choose any incentive you feel works best for your students. I also like to reward students who met their overall weekly goal even thought they didn't get the highest usage. For these students, I reward them with any little treat I have in the classroom which can include cute erasers, pencils, or even candy.
