INTERACTIVE POWERPOINT SLIDE SHOW | COMPUTER OR SMARTBOARD | FUN ANIMATION AND SOUND EFFECTS. Help your students read simple sentences in this story about sharing while practicing core words I, WANT, NO, MAKE, ALL and SOME using this animated slide show on your smartboard to engage them during AAC group or circle time.

Great also to use in the preschool and early intervention classrooms.

Pig makes a variety of food items but will not share with his animal friends. On a click or a tap, students hear Pig reply, "NO, I WANT ALL the _____" after his animal friends say, "Yummy, I WANT SOME, Pig." Owl finally takes Pig to task as he eventually learns to share.

Pig's farm animal friends (11) include: Owl, Cow, Horse, Duck, Chicken, Mouse, Rooster, Turkey, Sheep, Cat and Goat.

Food items (11) include: Tacos, popcorn, cinnamon buns, nachos, cheeseburgers, apple pie, strawberry shortcake, pancakes, cheese sandwiches, spaghetti and meatballs and brownies.

  • Target early communication skills - Joint attention, pointing, choice making.

  • Practice core words on AAC devices.

  • Use in conjunction with a big core board.

  • Build vocabulary – Identify or label color words, describe, define.

  • Increase MLU - Expand from words to phrases.

  • Answer simple “wh” questions (what, where, who).

  • Build literacy skills.
