Description
Engaging and fun math activity that ensures participation from every student! The "Addition and Subtraction of Integers: I Have... Who Has?" game is a fantastic way to practice as a whole class. Students actively engage by reading their cards aloud and solving problems mentally to keep the chain of questions and answers moving. If a mistake is made, the chain restarts—adding an extra challenge!
Directions:
Shuffle the cards and pass them out in random order. One student will begin by reading the first card (I often give this to a student who may be struggling—it's a great way to involve them without pressure). The student with the correct answer stands up and reads their card next—enthusiasm encouraged! This continues until the final card is read.
EASY PREP!
Only one set needed! Print (card stock is recommended for durability), laminate (optional), and cut into cards. The cards never need to be in a specific order and can be quickly distributed anytime. Store them in an envelope or folder for easy access whenever you need a lesson activity, time filler, brain break, or movement opportunity.
Want to make it competitive?
Challenge different classes to see who can complete the chain correctly in the shortest time—or race against your own best classroom time. Be sure to shuffle and reassign cards regularly to keep students thinking rather than memorizing the order.
When to use?
A purposeful activity to use anytime—for review, motivation before a quiz, or as a quick and engaging brain break. Great for filling extra minutes at the end of class with meaningful participation.

- Cover Page
- Colored Cards
- Black & White Cards
