Combining reading comprehension within the IB PYP Learner Profile helps to reinforce the profile of a learner and helps your students to gain a deeper understanding of what the Learner Profile means with being a whole learner. Text analysis through these attributes develops several of the Approaches to Learning Thinking Skills and can be used with any text.

There are 4 task cards for each trait of the Learner Profile, giving a total of 40 questions. They are designed to be used for:
- text evaluation
- text analysis/close reading
- reflective thinking skills
- collaborative thinking & discussions
Use the digital resource on your digital platform, allowing the children to answer 4 questions at a time.
- The cards can be used for written responses and oral responses.
- There is a recording sheet for each set of four task cards, enabling the children to record their thinking following the set of task cards.
- It easy for them to switch slides back and forward as they refer to the questions.
- They make great discussion provocations within literacy work too, either whole class or small group.
