This is Excel workbook provides worksheets for practicing PMX, CX and OX crossover techniques by hand. The data is based on the IBCS Genetic Algorithm 2021-22 Case Study. The CHROMOSONES and the members of the MATING POOL are dynamically created each time the workbook recalculates. Students then use the parents in the mating pool to complete the PMX, CX and OX processes. Thorough instructions on how each process is to be included are on the worksheets. After performing crossover by hand, students are prepared to work on programming the steps in JS, JAVA or other programming language.
