Description
WH questions modified! I created this who, what, where activity to help my students with Autism become more successful in writing and answering WH questions. I will often times change the picture that they are describing with known people (themselves, family members or classmates, other pictures taken from google).
This is based on repetition. My students have learned with this book how to write sentences as well as become more consistent in answering WH questions. It also fosters self monitoring to encourage independent working (putting a check next to the numbers after they have answered). Used with my students with Autism as well as mainstream students that I tutor.
Also available is in my store is a SmartBoard activity that can be used as a lesson for this book. It is called IEP Goals- See and Write! Or paste this link in your browser:

I love how the students have to answer the three main questions but yet the picture provides direction for them. The students are doing great at it.
