Self-monitoring is such an important skill for 5th graders. In my class, students use this self-monitoring sheet throughout our Illustrative Math lessons. Not only does it increase engagement, but also It allows them to self-assess their math skills and reflect on what they need help with and how I can assist them. This resource also allows me to use their self-assessment as data for which students need reteaching. This self-monitoring tracking sheet truly has worked wonders in my classroom!
This sheet includes all lessons of Unit 3 in IM® Grade 5 Math. The learning goals, scaling, and directions are included on the page.
