Description

This a great worksheet to use for decorating your classroom, substitute worksheet, and/or filler for students who are done early with their work.

Depending on the season, I have different types. For example, this one is for spring. Students have to pick a song they would normally hear during the spring. Some students may think the song has to have the word spring. No, it doesn't have to. I explain after the winter season, the sun is starting to shine, it's starting to warm up, you may be traveling or going outside more. "What song would being playing where you are at? What song gives you that spring vibes of having fun? what is your jam in the spring?"

Students then have to write the title of the song, who composed or sang it, some of the lyrics (if there are bad words in the lyrics, tell them to put the lyrics that are school appropriate), adjectives describing the song, and a picture that describes the song.

You'll get some students doing the minimal, some going overboard, and the in between. Overall students enjoy this worksheet, because it is their choice, and it describes what they like.
