Description

Describing and Identifying attributes is an important language skill in the language processing hierarchy for growing expressive language skills. This hierarchy provides the framework for selecting language goals and providing language therapy in a systematic way.

This product contains 72 attribute cards. There are 8 cards for each skill area to teach students to identify items by size, shape, color, material, sense, and location, as well as 16 cards for general attribute description. Although many products include functions, associations, and categories, these attributes are not included in this product, as they are targeted during other stages in the language processing hierarchy. There are two visuals provided that include all attributes, as well as the specific areas targeted within this product. Please see the related products for these goals. These are an easy prep product. The accompanying worksheets are also perfect for additional practice and homework. This product includes 10 worksheets in both a black and white or color version (20 total).
